I am an experienced, dyed in the polyester, plaintiff’s lawyer, who represented victims of negligent drivers, workplace injuries, and careless doctors during my 35 year legal career. I retired from the active practice of law in March 2011, but remain passionate about sharing a wealth of knowledge accumulated during my long, legal lifetime.
I can still remember the rainy day in Trenton in 1976 being sworn in to practice law by Chief Justice Hughes. My fiance (current/only) wife was with me. It has been an amazing journey.
I have been married thirty-five years to Dava. We are the proud parents of two wonderful children, Julie and Jordan. A terrific son-in-law, Drew, three rescued cats, a grand pup, Moose.
My beautiful, gorgeous, brand spanking new grand daughter, Natalie, was born on August 17, 2011. You can call her “Talie” but please don’t call her “Nat;” or I’ll be in a heap of trouble.
Life is good, and getting gooder.
I have spent most of my life as an obsessive schoolaholic. While attending college, I became a licensed NJ title insurance producer. After earning my degree, I pursued a graduate program in London, and then attended law school. During this time, I consumed vast amounts of knowledge while learning about such varied subjects as Byzantine era politics and criminal penalties for copyright infringement.
Over the last several years, I have swapped one obsession for another. I am obsessed about the law, and how the law affects each and every one of us in our daily lives.
I am passionate about:
- Intellectual property
- Real estate
- Family law issues
I welcome the opportunity to serve as a guide through these topics, and writing about important legal developments, court decisions, and moderating discussions about how these subjects impact the lives of our audience.
