I am a life-long democrat, and here’s what I learned from this startling revelation. Mr. Romney is either incredibly brilliant or amazingly lucky in the world of big bucks.
He’s chosen competent, professional, financial advisers and tax planners to handle his enormous wealth. These advisers succeeded in their mission of retaining control of a significant portion of his huge financial gains, instead of turning over a much larger share of his wealth to the government.
What a terrible handicap to overcome. Wouldn’t it be better to have a President, who earned an hourly wage and paid max taxes at a higher tax rate than Mr. Romney, to preside over our Trillion dollar budget?
